27 pagesInternational audienceIn the field of study of publishing history, this article investigates the nine editions of the anthology entitled Cantiques de Maisonfleur, from 1580 to 1613, its increase and its restructuring, and its distribution among other collections from 1591 to 1621. The simultaneous presence of poems from royal poets known as Catholics and poems of Reformed spirituality or written by Calvinists (pastors) is examined in the perspective of editorial fabrication. According to our hypothesis, the collection does not try to unite the two religious confessions, but rather tries to conciliate the position of French royal subject, remaining loyal to the monarchy of Valois, and the position of Reformed believer.
